About the Founder
I am Sunita Behera from Odisha. Odisha is home to more than 50 different types of Handicraft and art and thousands of artists practicing them. This connection has deepened my love for handmade products and respect for these artists. India is home to many such art and handicrafts and lakhs of artists practicing them. I have worked in Bangalore with one of the largest e-commerce retailer in India and this is my connection to e-commerce. I wanted to bring these two together and Mati Ke Laal was born.
Our Brand
Mati Ke Laal as the word represents sons of the soil. We want to represent lakhs of men and women who are practicing the ancient art of handicraft.

Our vision at Mati Ke Laal is to bridge the gap between local artisans, homepreneurs, and craftsmen for customers looking for unique aesthetic products through leveraging e-commerce. Our products are Made In India and made by local artisans and homepreneurs.

We have taken the mission is to curate handmade, local & unique home decor products from all the regions of India and provide it on a common platform for domestic and international customers to buy them with the help of e-commerce.
